Quiet flight all around. No fighters and when we came over the target area we could see all the flak was well below us. Mike our bomb aimer had no problem locating the TI's and we came in over the target, seeing several good fires from the other lads bombing before us. Came over the target and we felt our load go, and as Mike yelled out "Bombs gone!" I brought us into a tight port turn and headed for home. I reminded the lads to keep their eyes open as we headed home … Our mid-upper thought he spotted something but nothing came of it. Landed with no problems and no damage which made Chiefy very happy …!
