We approach Belguim almost as a total suprise to the enemy. Sporatic flak is fired at us & we manage to drop 30 percent on target! Causing much damage to the enemy troops in the area. We turn for home and finally one ME-110 gets through our fighters. he scores a couple of hits, causing minor damage. The tailgunner gets a piece of him on his second pass. The 110 is trailing smoke!
We fly on and don't have any further difficulties & manage to land without incident.
