Had an early scare when an Me-110 jumped us and peppered the bomb bay but thankfully we weren't blown to kingdom come. Unfortunately our raft took some punishment which put us in a tricky situation with so much flying over water.
Were picked up a further two Me-110s as we approached the target. Bomb aimer P/O Morrison took a nick and the nose turret guns were shot up pretty good.
Despite the injury Hector was confident that he managed to put something on the target.
No activity on the flight home. Text book landing.
