Mid upper gunner Thompson shot down a 110, 30 minutes away from the target. Tail gunner Gibbons was also shooting well tonight. He fired at another 110 attacking from 6 low after he had seen it fire. The fighter's right engine caught fire and Sgt Gibbons claims it a KIA.
