Well we flew right into that one. The first hun we bumped into blew the bombsight out of the nose, winged the bomb aimer blew the Oboe set into the cockpit via the back of the navigators head and tore my flying jacket.
Fortunately the Nav will be OK but it knocked him cold and with no realistic chance of doing more than wasting the bombload I turned out of the bomber stream and dived for blighty.
