Jerry seemed to be lurking off the coast. We were hit by several nightfighters on way to target. No serious damages done to us though. Sgt. Rosenbaum put estimated 30% of bombs on target, which I find jolly since we were spotlighted, attacked by wild boar and hit by flak! And on the way home, Sgt. Rosie put the bullets into an attacking Bf110 and sent him falling toward the channel.
Maintiance Chief reports danages to port wing root, port rudder, control cables in tail and to replace pane of glass in pilot window. GROGGY LASS will be ready for 'er next mission.
Now, to buy Sgt. Rosie a pint!
