On the run up to the target we were attacked by an ME110. The Port Aileron was shot out as was the #1 Engine. Minor damages to the flight deck and starboard wing root. The rear turret was jammed but the read gunner stayed in his position to carry out a running commentary. Our bomb load was dropped at the edge of the TIs. On the return trip an ME110 shot out the starboard flaps and brakes. Despite the damage the aircraft landed safely and will be repiared for the next mission
