Uneventfully short trip across the channel. Spotted some Me-110s harrassing some of the other bombers but we were left untouched. The poor weather over the target proved more of a nuisance than either the light flak or their searchlights however Sgt. Widowson was confident he had hit his mark. Return flight was similarly uneventful with a text book landing under clear skies over Lincoln.
Couldn't help noticing the number of ships massed on the South coast. Quite a sight.
