On the run-up to the target an ME110 attacking from below got some hits on our aircraft.
Starboard Wing: Root - Hit
Bomb Bay: Superficial damage
Waist: Superficial damage
Tail: Oxygen supply - Tail Gunner oxygen hit
Waist: Equipment - Port ammo box inoperable
The bomb aimer in the nose turret had a go at him and hit him but the ME100 continued his attack. No further damage. Over the target we took one hit from flak that caused some minor damage to the nose. An ME109 Wild Boar over the target was driven off by accurate fire by the mid-upper gunner. Bomb run was on target: 20%.
Leaving the target an ME110 attacked from behind and below but both he and the rear gunner missed. Rest of the trip was quiet and we landed safely
