Back to France. LeBlanc spotted a Me-110 behind us while crossing the Channel. Couldn't hit him, but we took some superficial damage.
LeBlanc didn't catch the Ju-88 underneath us on approach to target. Couldn't hit him, either, but our raft and one of LeBlanc's ammunition boxes were hit. Madden, Kroll, and LeBlanc were wounded, none seriously.
Flak and searchlights were directed elsewhere. Madden says the bomb run is a piece of cake when the Pathfinders concentrate the markers like this.
Uneventful trip home.
