PM015, pilot officer A. Kinchloe reporting. Our 13th mission as a crew, with only four of the original seven still serving. Just crossed over French coast when a Tame Boar lit us up from behind. Knocked out the mid-upper turret, the rear gunner's oxygen, and the autopilot, amongst other things. First mission bomb aimer Rossington and I did our best to put ordnance on the markers, but without autopilot it was in vain. Exitted target zone, dropped to 5,000 feet, snuck back over the enemy lines, and made it home. (138 Peckham points)
