On the run up to the target an ME110 came in from behind and was promptly shot down by the rear gunner. A flak hit over the target knocked out the rear turret but left the rear gunner unharmed. A Wild Boar Me109 attacking over the target caused the bomb aimer to miss the TIs.
Over the channel an ME110 got in some hits on the port wing causing minor damage. A burst from the mid-upper gunner damaged the attacker and he dove away.
