We are off to our target. almost undetected, finally a 110 hits us and we take a couple of hits, nothing serious. we get away and fly on toward the target. We approach the target & are able to drop 20 percent on target. another 110 hits us and the wireless operator is hit! a light wound. We break free and head home. another 110 finds us and delivers another barrage. our #2 engine is damaged. finally our tailgunner gets a bead on him and gets the kill! we fly on the rest of the way & manage to land safely.
