Pug-Nosed Dream Mission 83 AAR : Hamburg

We got off to a good start. While still over the North Sea, a Me-110 came up under our port wing before we know it, but somehow managed to miss everything that mattered. Then Quaife tracked it around with his mid-upper turret from the starboard side, catching it dead ahead and setting it afire. Another Me-110 found us on the run into the target, but its pilot was a terrible shot and finally gave up, probably in disgust.

Heavy cloud over the target kept the searchlights and flak away from us. Unfortunately, the sky markers were drifing badly, and Oates has no idea where our load ended up. The return trip was uneventful.
