Initial flight for Winston's Raiders, we are all a bit nervous. We fly on with little excitement. the weather is turning pretty sour as we approach the target area. A 110 attacks but a bit of pour shooting all around & he flies off. we are over the target & it is bedlam! mass confusion for our new crew! spotlights have caught us! thankfully we manage to dodge the flak all around. our drop is horrible! not even close! We will get better, we use the bad weather to slip away unscathed! not really detected on the long trek back to base. a little taste of the things to come ahead …
