A bit of a rough one this.
We were in zone 6 when we were surprised by an enemy fighter. He blasted our rafts apart and knocked out the tail guns.
Another surprise attack in zone 7 knocked out the heat to the mid-upper and took off half the bomb aimer's face. Albert was out and we aborted the mission.
We jettisoned the bombs and made our way back home. The doctors say that he will live but will certainly not win any beauty contests.
