Reports that Dancing Girl was attacked by several fighters over the channel. The fighters were seen coming in for a second pass when the plane suddenly dived into the channel. No chutes or survivors were seen.
It is to be assumed that either something happened to the pilot and flight engineer or to the controls since no other damage was seen.
