We head over to Orleans, a short trip. No excitement on the way to the target. but we are detected over the target. we are hit by flak! the engineer is slightly hurt! A 109 attacks, & the upper gunner gets a piece of him, as he breaks off! We turn around after managing to still hit the target!
A 110 attacks before we duck into the shadows. we are hit on the st. wing root! The tail gunner gets him for the kill! We are off on our way back, with little fanfair. we approach the landing field & touchdown safely.
