Uneventful flight to target. On approach to target, we were suprised by a Jerry nightfighter who couldn't hit us. No spotlighting, but we were jousled a bit by some flak which hit port wing aileron and took heat from Sgt. Proctor's position (Navigator). However, Sgt. Turner put our newest gift to Jerry spot on, hitting with about 60% on target.
In flight home, at altitude of 2000m. we encountered one more Jerry, who we hit with our defensive fire and he disappeared into the night.
Queen Anne's Revenge should be ready shortly for her next go at Jerry.
Respectfully Submited,
Ron Bradenton, F.O.
