Well we could see some 190's coming up after us on the run in but the figther boys kept all but two off us.
We lost an aileron to one and took some damage to the control cables then took a flak hit that took out most of the windscreen — Good old goggles or I wouldn't have been able to see a thing.
Bomb run on target — easy really — just drop when everyone else did and home with the 190's dogging us. Good job we didn't have far to go though — Cannon shell went through the navigators station and blew the charts and pencils out through the astrodome.
Not the smoothest landing ever but any landing you can walk away from …
No casualties. Damage reparable by next time.
