After a fighter attack somewhere over the Dutch-German border which wounded the WO/P,we were on the bomb run when we were hit by flak which blew off the port wing. We were the only two able to escape the aircraft as it spun down. We were later informed of the deaths of the rest of the crew by the Germans.
