Off to Stuttgart. We are immediatly humped as soin as we crossed into the Reich! A ME-110 hit us hard! The st. engine was hit & the wing root also took a hit! We finally drove him off, but not till the mid-upper gunner was hit! Lightly wounded! Another attacked us, but the rear gunner got him fast! We dropped twenty percent on target!! We managed to get away clear without any further entanglements! We fly on back to our base & Safety.
