Perdido Mission 105 AAR : Bremen

The Luftwaffe was nowhere to be seen tonight. Bremen's flak crews were on the job, though. We took holes in both ailerons (the starboard one remained operable), and the #3 engine was knocked out. The hydraulic pressure fell so fast that Opdenbosch couldn't feather the prop. Tannenbaum kept us on target despite the buffeting we'd received. It was a long, slow, trip back with that prop windmilling, but fortunately uneventful.
