Perdido Mission 107 AAR : Ladbergen

Quinn spotted a Me-110 behind us on our approach to Ladbergen, but he couldn't hit it. It did hit us, but we took no noticable damage. After that, I managed to keep Perdido out of it sights.

Searchlights around the canal couldn't hold on to us, and the flak missed. A single-engined fighter made an ineffectual head-on pass while Tannenbaum was lining us up on the TIs. But when Quick tried to open the bomb doors, nothing happened. Although its pilot didn't know it, that Me-110 had done its job.

Shortly after turning for home, Quinn spotted another Me-110. He was able to hit this one hard, and it broke into pieces as it fell.

Over the Netherlands, a third Me-110 finally escaped Quinn's sharp eye. But the pilot fired wildly, and once we were aware of its presence, evasion was easy.
