Flew to target without encountering any enemy fighter. Near target, Bf110N came up at us; Sgt. Corcoran gave him a taste of lead and he disappeared. We think we seriously damaged him.
Over city, we were hit by searchlight. A wandering Bf109N found us, and was hit by Sgt. Wilson with front turret guns. Jerry fired back at us, then disappeared - Wilson thinks he hit Jerry pretty good. Suprisingly, no flak burst came near us. With Jerry chased away, Sgt. Wilson put est. 50% of our metal gift on target.
Quiet flight home. Maintainance chief reports narry a hole in Thor's Hammer.
