We came through this mission without a single scratch or bullet hole in our lovely Keira II.
The first German to show up over the North Sea was spotted and shot down by Sgt Simon in the tail gunners position. He then drove off a second intruder over the target.
We should have done better with the bomb run but I fear we were well short.
Homebound another 110 was driven off by Sgt Carswell in the mid upper before finally a Ju88 showed up and in spite of three passes failed to score a single hit.
