Had a nice flight until we hit the Dutch-German border; there a BF110nachtjaeger suprised us, putting a few non-serious holes in us. He came back around and was hit by Sgt. Wilson with the nose guns, sending him down in pieces.
On approach to target, we were attacked by tame boar who did no damages, Sgt. Wilson thinks he hit that Jerry … then we were hit by searchlights. Somehow, no flak hit us and another tame boar made run at us, again, we suffered no hits. With all that, Sgt. Wilson then put our bombs on target, hitting with estimated 30%.
Very quiet flight home, except for odd whistling noise due to a hole in the waist section from Jerry bullet.
THOR'S HAMMER will be ready for next mission.
