Remarkably easy trip to the Happy Valley. A Me-110 caught us over the Netherlands, pouring all his fire into the port wind. We took some structural damage, but nothing that would keep us from pressing on. I sent Perdido into a corkscrew, and when Waddell spotted the German above us, he knocked him out of the sky!
Flak burst all around us over the target, but none of it came close enough to cause concern. Tannenbaum's getting to be an old hand at this, and wasn't about to miss a target that was so well marked.
A quick and easy trip home.
