We reached the target unscathed in spite of the attentions of a Me110 who initially surprised us.
The flak was well wide and we achieved a pretty neat bomb drop for our first time over Germany.
On the way back a Ju88 managed to achieve multiple hits on us taking out the starboard flaps and the landing gear.
The landing itself was more dramatic than dangerous and we all safely emerged from Queen Vic leaving the ground crew to worry about how to get her off her belly.
