We are off to Kiel, a long trip. a 110 finds us on the way over. we hit him a couple of times, damaging the night fighter. but not before we are hit on the St. Wing root. We finally approach Kiel & are met by a 110 fighter. We took a few more hits, The #2 engine was struck! We were able to shake free, avoid the flak. We finally dropped our bombs & managed to hit ten percent. We turned fast & were met by another 110. We are hit again! The 110 swings around again & is hit by the tailgunner! The 110 explodes in flames! We dissapear into the night. We drop a little in elevation, due to the damaged engine. We luckily are free of Night Fighters. & find our way back.
