Pretty quiet trip. We were picked up by an ME-110 which I spotted coming up behind us. Traded shots and neither one of us scoring any hits, he broke off and headed elsewhere. Over the target despite the lousy weather we managed to put 40% on target. Leaving the target area we got picked up by another ME-110 this bloke knew his business as he sneaked in close and managed to put some holes in the cockpit window and knocked out our #2 engine. Touch and go for a few mins as Flt and the skipper worked the controls to get the prop to feather. Jerry must have been low on fuel because we didn't see anything more. Landed at the home field with no problems.
