Caterham's eagle eyes and quick reactions saved us again and again tonight. Twice he damaged nightfighters on a first pass and downed it on a second and the third he swatted as easy as kiss your hand. His work wasn't enough to save poor Jimmy Lowe who caught a cannon shell in the centre of his chest on the way home.
Damage to the wings, chin and an aileron is all superficial and though we had to use emergency air to get the undercart down we managed a fair landing.
