Picked up by a single ME-110 just short of the target area, had 2 runs on us but only caused S/F Damage to the Bomb Bay, Tail and SW. Over the target we got smacked about by the flak with 5 S/F hits to the PW and 1 wing root hit. Despite all this bouncing around we got 75% on target! Skipper played it safe an made a long easy turn out of the target area and we had a quiet trip back to base. Landed with no problems but as we waited for our ride our Maint Chiefy walked away shaking his head. I asked one of ground chaps what was going on and he told me that Chiefy had stop counting at 100 holes in our PW!
