Over the target we were fixed by Searchlights, attacked by Wild Boar Bf 109 with Ace. German scored 1 superficial hit and was drove away and damaged by Mid Upper Gunner.
Flak was not efficient as aiming our bombardier, all bombs missed target.
Return way was luckily uneventful.
In the hospital, our flight engineer recovered but his injuries were so severe that it was withdrawn from participation in combat missions.
