It was a short flight, in zone 6 over North Sea Ju 88 with ace pilot and Schrage musik guns surprised us and scored 7 hits in Port wing, inboard fuel tank was on fire, we must immediately bail out. All crewman landed on water but only Navigator, Flt. Engineer and Mid-Upper Gunner were rescued by Germans and taken prisoner.
