Over Duisburg Bf110 Veteran caught by surpise and in first attack inflicted 4 hits — Bomb Aimer light wounded, bomb bay doors was inoperable and bomb drop was impossible. On starboard wing 1 root hit and aileron inoperable. Our bomb aimer was not obliged to look at bombsight and dameged enemy aircraft by guns. There were no searchlights and wild boar fighters.
Flak scored 1 hit — 2 shells — bomb controls out at nose and engine 2 out on port wing. Propeller was not feathered and aircraft stayed 2 Times in zone 6 back. Luckily, there was no enemy aircrafts. Landing with full load of bombs was peaceful.
