Attack on the Landbergen Canal it was very interesting mission with tension.
Over target Bf 110 with Ace surprise us in 2 succesful of 3 total attacks. Scored 8 hits- Radio Operator was serious wound and 1 port wing root hit.
In heavy Flak we gained another 2 hits with 3 shells, Port ruder hit, landing gear broke out.
As usual we have missed target in our trip.
Over home base over England we met Ju 88 with Average pilot. In 2 successful attacks German scored 11 hits, 8 of them were superficial, Port wing gets second root hit, Mid Upper Turret Gunner was serious wounded.
After landing two seriously injured crew members were taken by ambulance. Radio Operator quickly recovered but Gunner was finally sent home for the end of war.
