Toils and Snares Mission 138 AAR : Chemnitz

A long trip for an introduction, but we came out OK. Didn't see any EA untl well over Germany. Wyatt didn't notice the Me-110 coming up beneath us, but somehow it missed us. I went into evasive action, and we took some hits, but all were superficial.

Searchlights found us over the target, but the flak missed us anyway. Butterfield lined us up on a drifting sky marker — the photo just shows clouds, so there's no telling where our bombs ended up.

Coming back, yet another Me-110 got by Wyatt. This one got some solid hits on our starboard wing, but when I took evasive action, Cymbor found it in his sights, and set a wing on fire.

No problems getting back to base and setting down.
