An uneventful trip to the target. Avoided the searchlights. Such flak as there was, wasn't aimed at us. Had a bad run on the target for no obvious reason. Back over the North Sea, a twin-engined fighter caught us unaware. But he was a bad shot, and I was able to keep us out of his sights until he gave up.
