Home Girl and her entire crew were lost on the night of 14th/15th March whilst taking part in the raid on Lutzkendorf.
It is believed from other reports that the crew of Home Girl fought off multiple fighter attacks on the way to the target before being hit by flak.
The final message from Home Girl confirmed fuel and oil leaks had forced a ditching in the North Sea.
All crew are assumed to be killed in action.
