At bombing altitude and just over the IP we were strafed by a 110. Hits to the Starboard wing, control surfaces and outer engine meant we were struggling to stay on line even though the gunners claim to have hit him on his second pass.
We did the best we could on our run but managed to put just 5% of the bomb load down in the target zone.
A serious fuel leak gave us just enough juice to get back to England and a ropey landing with no brake on the Stbd main gear meant some further damage to the aircraft but my crew chief reports we'll be ready to go again in 24 hours or so.
No casualties but my pride.
